Danby DPAC9030 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, if and when the air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Elements of a faulty main limit switch
- The heating and cooling system will not begin the ignition sequence nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system begins to act weird from time to time
