The ever-important fan blade for the outdoor compressor is dutied with dispersing the massive amounts of heat that is released by the compressor. Most blades are built from heavy duty metal, but they may not hold up from one year to the next for a lot of reasons.
Major signs of a weakening DeLonghi fan blade
- Blade appears to be rusted or dented from being outside
- It is way out of balance as it begins spinning and trying to cool the compressor
- The edge of the blade is fragmented or flawed for some reason
