DeLonghi PAC160 Limit Switch
The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
Some warnings of a bad limit switch
- The whole system is beginning to act differently occasionally
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running longer than 30 seconds
