The compressor fan motor has a specific duty of keeping the compressor cool, due to the large amount of heat must be dispelled into the air. Please make sure the replacement motor has the voltage that is the same and correct amp current as it is on the current motor. The unit may be replaced on its own as this tends to make things easier and make it a probable DIY project.
What are the indications that my fan motor has to be replaced?
