A transformer is a simple device used in a wide variety of products including heating and cooling systems as it usually converts electricity from one voltage to another. Heating and cooling transformers are all different so be sure you replace it with the same necessary voltage readings. If you need to replace one, make sure to get one that is rated for the correct voltage that is demanded.
Major indications your main transformer will need replacing
- Little or no power measured departing a main transformer block while using a voltmeter
- Cycling voltages is calculated stemming from the transformer
