DeLonghi PAC 400 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has a unique job of cooling the compressor, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat has got to be driven away. The motor can be replaced with or without the blade, this may make it a lot easier and reduce costs overall. It is critical that you get the similar voltage and the same amps as on the current fan motor.
Clues to watch for to know your fan motor has to be replaced
- A weird crackling noise while the motor is turning
- The DeLonghi motor tries but fails to turn the blade
- The compressor cooling motor catches fire or sparks when it begins to turn
