The vent motor was originally conceived in order to disperse air and excess gas from the furnace to the outdoors. A vent blower, aka draft inducer, is only one of a great many personal safety devices located on your heating system.Also called a draft inducer, as it will deliver sufficient draft for a cleaner and safer combustion.
Hints of an unhealthy primary draft inducer
- More than enough electricity is measured arriving to the draft inducing motor yet it still will not operate
- Blower fan will not initialize
- Main draft inducer never turns on at some point of the ignition procedure
