Delonghi C100 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that will reliable sense the exact flame when igniting the system. As with most devices used for safety reason, if the sensor produces an error the system remains completely shut down until the problem is remedied and the system is reset.
Warnings of a weakening flame sensor
- The heat system is unable to even start when you crank the thermostat up
- The entire heating system kicks in sometimes when it wants to
- The type of gas you use refuses to try to begin an ignition sequence and some type of error flashes on the main board
