Delonghi C120 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor has a specific duty of cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat that needs to be dissipated. The motor can be replaced on its own as this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and it is something you can do yourself. Be certain you get the proper voltage and the correct amp listing as on the current fan motor.
Clues to watch for to know the cooling fan motor is going out
- The main cooling motor begins to smoke or throws sparks while it tries to spin
- The Delonghi motor does not move at all
- You can hear a rubbing or scraping sound when the cooling fan speeds up
