Desa B150J Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board instructs the outdoor unit to begin the defrost cycle which actually helps to get rid of the frost that collects on the outdoor unit. It relies on a temperature sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to verify when to begin.
Major symptoms your defrost board needs replacing
- The control board could display a particular error code if the defrost board fails
- The defrost feature never initiates even though there is excessive frost on the outdoor unit
- AC and heating system could cease to operate due to lack of airflow through the outdoor unit
