Desa B150J Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that makes the determination when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major indications limit type switch should need replacing
- The Desa system is beginning to initiate and then stops on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running for any significant length if time
