Desa R60 Transformer
A transformer is used frequently in anything electrical which includes your forced air system as it transforms electricity usually from a higher voltage to a lower voltage. Transformers may have specific specs and you must follow specific necessary voltage readings. When you have to replace a transformer in the system, make sure to get one that is rated for the voltage that will be needed by the system.
Key indicators that my converting transformer is about to stop working?
- Extremely low voltage evaluated leaving your transformer using a voltmeter
- Inexact volts is measured stemming from the system transformer
- The volt dropping transformer physically appears cracked or could smell like its burning when it is in use
