Desa REM115 Thermistor

In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a thermal resistor, which has a resistance that varies depending on the heat. They tell the system when a certain temperature in increasing or decreasing. The system control board interprets the temperature in certain areas to know what to do next.

Major indications the temp-regulating thermister will need replacing

Primary blower could fail in its attempt to ramp up to full speed
The initial sequence may never start up due to a damaged thermistor
