Desa REM155B Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
Symptoms limit switch will eventually need to be replaced
- System will not even start or run well longer than 30 seconds
- The Desa system is starting to run inconsistently on a regular basis
