Desa REM40 Expansion Valve
A normal AC expansion valve permits the refrigerant to expand back to its low-pressure vapor form from a high-pressure liquid form. A split-system AC unit would be worthless if the expansion valve was somehow damaged.
Some clues the AC expansion valve is failing
- Air from the AC is warmer than you are accustomed to for the AC to cool the house
