Desa REM60 Thermistor

A very basic thermistor is a special kind of new age resistor which has a resistance that is dependent on the thermal temperature. They notify the system when a certain temperature has been reached. The system control board interprets the temperature in some specific areas of the system to make a decision on what needs to be done.

The whole system could never start up depending on which is the thermistor that is stuck open
The blower fails in its attempt to ramp up

If you decide on picking up or purchasing, do your due diligence and make sure of the model number as well as make a visual inspection so that you are positive that the correct thermistor is the one being purchased.
