Energy conversion kits are not available for all HVAC systems. They will only be obtainable for certain systems that are designed to be able to handle a switch. A conversion kit could allow a furnace to convert burning from an expensive source to something different, such as from natural gas to electric or the other way around. If you are able to find one it may be better to have it set up by an HVAC professional, for obvious safety reasons.
