Friedrich CP05 Filter
The filter in the wall unit has a main job of filtering out dust and other particles as it is being forced through the system. This helps protect the unit and make it operate way more efficiently while, at the same time, filtering the air breathe in and out everyday. Because of this, the filter should be exchanged or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
What happens when my dust filter is not well?
- It is highly advised to swap out your air filter four times a year to assist in keeping the indoor air clean and fresh
- If you hold it up to the light, it does not shine through the air filter
- The main filter looks gross and it would be best to replace it before tomorrow
