Friedrich CP12E10 Filter
The unit filter is designed to be good at trapping really small dust parts and other tiny particles from the inside air inside the home. The filter can both help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and make it work much more efficient while also cleaning the air you breathe in your house. During regular maintenance the filter should probably be changed out or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
Indications of an ineffective primary air filter
- If you lift the air filter up to a source of bright light, the light does not penetrate through the filter at all
- It looks gross and perhaps should be replaced as soon as you can
- It is highly recommended to replace the filter about every three months so as to have cleaner breathable air
