Friedrich MW36C3F Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heating area that can determine when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What happens when my limit switch most likely is not working right?
- Your Friedrich system refuses to start or run even though max temp has not been reached
- The whole system is beginning to act weird often
