Friedrich P-12 Control Board
The control board is constructed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the igniter, all the sensors as well as the air circulator all at once. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even operate unless the control board is properly connected to the unit. A matching board should have a replacement part number that matches both the make and model of HVAC system. You must be careful when you are deciding on a replacement because of the diversity of systems.
