Friedrich P12B-A Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is not warm enough then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that decides if and when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
Signs of a bad limit type switch
- The heating and AC system refuses to start or will not stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system is beginning to become unpredictable repeatedly
