Friedrich SS14 Filter
The filter in the wall unit was designed for removing microscopic dust and other particles as it is being forced through the system. This simple filter can make the unit cleaner and make it run a lot better at doing its job while cleaning the dust out of the air you breathe all day. Due to the amount of dust in the house, the filter should probably be exchanged or simply cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
Red flags of a faulty filter
- If you were to lift up the filter, the light will not show through a completely clogged filter
- The system air filter looks very bad and maybe should be replaced right now
- It is greatly recommended to replace your air filter about every three months to keep the house clean and less dusty
