A conversion kit could allow a furnace to convert burning from a single source of energy to something different, maybe from heating oil to electric or the other way around. Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are limited and are not made for all furnace system types. Buying one is possible for certain systems that are designed with converting in mind.
