Friedrich VEA09K Limit Switch
Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that can determine when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower.
Signals of an ailing critical limit switch
- The system begins to run erratically often
- Your Friedrich system will not begin nor will it stay running longer than 30 seconds
