Friedrich VEA12K Cooling Fan Blade
The blade attached to the fan motor outside has an important job of dissipating the massive amounts of heat that is released by the compressor. Due to the fact that the fan blades are unsupervised and out in the open they may break one year for many reasons.
How do you know when your cooling fan blade has to be replaced?
- Fine edges of the fins are chipped or damaged due to a physical beating
- The cooling blade is out of balance as it begins spinning and trying to cool the compressor
- Some of the blade appears to be rusted or dented from being outdoors
