The filter can both protect the unit and make it work a lot better at doing its job while cleaning the air you breathe. While doing regular cleaning of the houseZZZcommmaZZZ it should be simply replaced or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
What symptoms are present when the main filter is almost full?
- If you hold it up to the light, it is unable to breach the other side of the air filter
- The system filter looks gray or brown and replacing it would be best soon
- It is advised to replace the filter four times a year to help keep the air fresh and make the unit run more efficient
