The filter is designed to be good at trapping really small dust parts and other tiny bits as it is being forced through the system. This helps make the unit cleaner and help it be a lot better at doing its job while, at the same time, filtering the air breathe in and out everyday. Because it is really easy to do, the unit filter must be swapped out for a new one or simply cleaned every so often depending on how much you use it.
Do you know if your dust filter is on its last leg?
- The air filter looks like it is filled with dust and replacing it would be best as soon as you can
- It is greatly recommended to switch out the air filter in your unit about every 90 days in order to have clean air running through the unit
- If you were to lift up the filter, the light will not show through a clogged air filter
