Fan motors of wall units can be a simple job to reinstall as long as you have skills and some understanding of simple mechanics. The main fan motor is responsible for the conditioned air blowing into a main area of the house.

- The unit fan blade will not move while the system should be creating an airflow
- Occasionally you can hear scuffing or other unfriendly noises as the fan motor is in use
