Red flags the air filter is in need of replacing
- If you place a light source behind it, the light is unable to break through to the other side of a dirt-packed filter
- It is greatly advised to replace your air filter about every 90 days to help clean the indoor air
- The filter looks gray or brown and probably should be replaced without delay
