The unit filter was created for trapping really small dust parts and other particles as it is being forced through the system. This filtering system will help keep the unit dust-free and make it operate much more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe in your house. Due to the amount of dust in the house, it should be simply replaced or cleaned a few times a year depending on how much you use it.
Some warnings the air filter has very little life left
- When you hold it up, the light will not infiltrate to the opposite side of a clogged air filter
- It is highly suggested to replace your air filter every three months to help prevent mold and bacteria build-up
- The system filter looks dirty and maybe should be replaced soon
