The filter is designed to be good at removing small dust molecules and other small elements as it passes through. This can both keep the unit dust-free and make it run way more efficiently while also filtering the air you breathe. During regular maintenance it should be exchanged or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
Major clues the primary air filter is not going to last much longer
- It is highly suggested to replace your air filter about every three months to keep the air inside clean and free of harmful dust
