Because of the nature of filtering air, the unit filter must be exchanged or cleaned a few times a year depending on how much you use it.
Major signs of a failing main filter
- With a light behind the air filter, the light will not shine through a completely clogged filter
- It is highly advised to swap out your air filter about every 90 days in order for the machine to run more efficient and to breathe easier inside
