The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
How do you know if your limit switch is dying?
- Your system is beginning to runs spotty on more than one occasion
- The heating and AC system will not start nor will it stay running longer that five minutes
