GE AEL25DPL1 Filter
The filter in the wall unit was designed for filtering minute dust particles and other tiny particles as it is being forced through the system. This helps keep the unit dust-free and make it operate much more efficient while also cleaning the air in your home. During regular maintenance the filter should be swapped out for a new one or cleaned every so often in order to keep things clean.
Main clues your main filter is on its last leg
- It is recommended to switch out the air filter in your unit every three months to assist in keeping the indoor air clean and fresh
- The air filter looks brown and must be replaced real soon
- Sunlight is unable to breach the other side of a completely clogged filter
