The unit filter was designed for filtering out dust and other tiny bits as it passes through. The filter can both keep the unit dust-free and help it be much more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe. While doing regular cleaning of the houseZZZcommmaZZZ the unit filter must be changed out or perhaps cleaned thoroughly every so often in order to keep things clean.
Signals of a laboring filter
- If you were to lift up the filter, the light is unable to shine through a very dirty air filter
- It is highly advised to switch out the air filter in your unit every season of the year to help prevent mold and bacteria build-up
- The unit air filter looks like it is filled with dust and perhaps should be replaced ASAP
