The unit filter is responsible for filtering out dust and other particles as it passes through. This can both help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and help it be more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the air breathe in and out everyday. Because it is really easy to do, the filter should be replaced or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
What happens when my air filter is almost full?
