GE AHV05LPQ1 Filter
The air filter has the main responsibility for filtering minute dust particles and other tiny bits as it passes through. This helps keep the unit clean and help it be a lot better at doing its job while, at the same time, filtering the dust out of the air you breathe all day. Because of this, the unit filter must be replaced or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
Elements of a barely functioning main filter
- Sunlight does not show on the other side a completely clogged filter
- The air filter looks dusty and it would be a good idea to replace it now
- It is greatly recommended to swap out your air filter every 90 days in order for the machine to run more efficient and to breathe easier inside
