The filter in the wall unit was created for removing small dust molecules and other unwanted bits as it is being forced through the system. This helps help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and make it work much more efficient while cleaning the dust out of the air you breathe all day. During regular maintenance it should be exchanged or cleaned a few times a year depending on how much you use it.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my filter is about to go out?
- It is greatly recommended to switch out the air filter in your unit every three months for clean air inside the house
- If you hold it up to the light, it will almost not breach the other side of the filter at all
- The system air filter looks gross and it would be best to replace it now
