A changeable air filter is responsible for filtering out dust and other miniscule particles as it passes through. The filter can both keep the unit dust-free and make it operate much more efficient while also cleaning the air breathe in and out everyday. During regular maintenance the air filter must be exchanged or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my dust filter is on its last leg?
- When you hold it up, the light will not infiltrate to the opposite side of the filter
- It is greatly suggested to switch out the air filter in your unit four times a year in order to have clean air in the home
- The system air filter looks dusty and the best thing to do would be to replace it immediately
