The unit filter is responsible for filtering minute dust particles and other miniscule particles from the air in the house. This simple filter can protect the unit and make it work more efficient while cleaning the air you breathe in your house. Because of this, the air filter must be swapped out for a new one or simply cleaned every so often depending on how much you use it.
Hints of a worsening main filter
- If you place a light source behind it, the light is unable to shine through a dirt-packed filter
- It is highly suggested to swap out your air filter every 90 days in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- The system air filter looks bad and the best thing to do would be to replace it right away
