This simple filter can make the unit cleaner and make it operate way more efficiently while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe in your house. Due to the amount of dust in the house, it should be simply replaced or perhaps washed every so often depending on how much you use it.
Signs your filter is on its last leg
- The main filter looks dirty and should be replaced before tomorrow
- It is greatly advised to switch out the air filter in your unit about every three months to keep the air fresh for the family
- With a light behind the air filter, the light will almost not show through a clogged air filter
