A changeable air filter has the main responsibility for trapping really small dust parts and other miniscule particles as it is being forced through the system. The filter can both protect the unit and make it operate more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe in your house. Because it is really easy to do, the filter should be simply replaced or perhaps cleaned thoroughly at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
