GE AZ75E12DACM1 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is one that will dependably sense the correct flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. As with most safety features, if the sensor produces an error the whole system stops for as long as it takes to remedy the problem.
Simple indications of a poorly performing flame sensor
- The furnace works occasionally when it thinks it should
- The furnace cannot begin operations when it is supposed to
- The gas has difficulty trying to properly ignite and closes the gas valve
