GE AZ75W12DACM1 Ignition Control Board
The purpose of the ignition control board is that it keeps an eye on gas intake, the ignition timing and other safety devices built into the system. The ignition control board was always an important electronic circuit board that, over the years, has merged to become a standard part of the main board instead of having two separate boards.
Simple indications of a poorly performing ignition board
- Ignition system declines to start when it receives a proper signal
- Any other potential problem within the furnace is looked at and turns out to be in good health
- The electrical signal from the home thermostat never reaches the main control board
