It is recommended that the air filter gets replaced every 3 months for optimal air quality inside the house. The filter should filter some allergens and other fine particles from the furnace. The dimensions of the filter is not a choice you make due to the requirement of your air handler.
Important clues of a declining air filter
- It is highly suggested to switch out the air filter in your unit about every 90 days in order to have clean air running through the unit
