The fan motor turns the blade which is the basis for the conditioned air flowing into the room throughout your home. The vast majority of fan motors in general can be quite easy to replace as long as you have skills and some basic tools to get the job done.
How do you know if your primary fan motor needs replacing?
- The blade refuses to turn correctly while the whole system is set to circulate the air
- You may hear scraping and other unpleasant sounds as the motor is running
