The filter is the best line of defense when filtering out dust and other tiny bits from the air in the house. This filtering system will help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and make it run much more efficient while, at the same time, filtering the air you breathe. Due to the amount of dust in the house, the unit filter must be changed out or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
Major signs of a poor main filter
