Signs that your blower motor probably dying and will soon need to be replaced
- The main air blower unit starts sporadically and then ends suddenly before the heating or cooling tamp has been reached.
- Your blower creates an awful thumping or grinding noise while startup is initiating or ending.
- Your blower has a lot of difficulty forcing any normal amount of airflow inside the home.
- When the start sequence is initiated the electrical circuit blows, quickly halting the HVAC system due to the blower motor shorting out the electrical circuit.
