Goodman AR090 Control Board
The Goodman AR090 control board is made to regulate everything including the gas valve, the igniter, all the various sensors and the blower all together. Your furnace or AC will not be able to function without the main control board in its proper place and configured for your unit. You must be sure when you are choosing a replacement board due to so many small differences in heating and cooling systems. The board you choose will need to pair with the part number from both the make and model of HVAC system.
Major signs your control board will need to be replaced
- The furnace or AC will not do anything at all
- There is a strange code suddenly appearing on the control board
- The whole system has to be turned off and back on rather frequently in order to run
